Painting workshops for all ages, Whales and Wine, workshops for the kids, meditation, yoga, quilt show, heritage talks and ghost walks--in addition to our amazing lineup of music performances and unique art displays, there are also many funky festival events at Fogfest. 

HERITAGE TALKS
Fogfest offers two one-hour talks on local history and culture over the five day festival. A very popular event!

 

Held at Roosevelt Campobello International Park Theatre.

Daily, 6pm. Admission free.

A talk about Whales with our resident whale expert Moira Brown.  

PAINTING WORKSHOP ($)

Explore your talents with a paint brush by taking a class lead by Daphne Carten.  Handcraft your own Fogfest 2019 Souvenir!  This takes place in the gazebo at the Herring Cove campground.  There is a limit of 15 seats.  To register, please contact Daphne by messaging her on Facebook or email her at  Daphne.carten@gmail.com

CULTURAL DEMONSTRATION

How to build a traditional wooden lobster trap!  Come and see a presentation on the Traditional Fisheries at the Porch at Friar's Bay.

13th ANNUAL SUMMER GALA

Held at the Campobello Public  Library and Museum.  Isabella Crowell will perform at 11am.  Author Reading and Book Signing.  Don't miss out on the raffle items, bake sale and the always popular Book Sale.  

The Library and Museum happy to have Joann Hamilton-Barry read from her book: The North Atlantic Right Whale.

STORY TELLING CIRCLE

Everyone has a story.  Let the local island residents tell you of the rich history they experienced growing up in such a unique place. 

Take a glimpse into their lives by allowing them to tell you their stories.  This will take place in the St. Anne's Hall.  Admission is free.  

THURSDAY, AUGUST 1ST at 6PM

YOGA/MEDITATION ON THE BEACH

Start your day with a session of Yoga on the black sands of Herring Cove Beach with Annabelle Juno.  

Please bring your own mat or towel.  Admission is free.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 3RD

Yoga on the Beach!  10am   

Stretch with the waves and open your muscles to experience the island fully.  

SUNDAY, AUGUST 4TH

Meditation on the Beach!  10am

Let the ebb and flow of the ocean wash away all of your worries.

DOORYARD MARKET

Come one and come all!  Pick your Fogfest  Merchandise at the Campobello Gift House then make sure to stop over at the Scoop Shack for a delicious treat.  The last step is to peruse the local vendors set up for your shopping pleasure.

QUILT SALE

Beautifully displayed, hand crafted and island made!  The Women of the St. Anne's Quilting Guild have some amazing talents as well as nimble fingers.  These ladies show us what perfection is with a sewing needle as well as traditional ways of building quality with love.  Located in the Historic St. Anne's Anglican Church.  Admission is free.
